Text on Évora’s Seventeenth-Century Soundscape

The paper of my participation (in Portuguese) in the II International Congress on the Interdisciplinarity on Social and Human Sciences, that took place in Faro, at the University of Algarve in May 2017. Its an introductory approach to the soundscape of Évora in the seventeenth century based on the musical activity of its religious institutions. This is a departing base for more detailed studies on the presence of these institutions in the city’s soundscape not only in that century but also in earlier and later periods.
