Ensemble Eborensis
The vocal ensemble Cappella Angrensis was a brief project developed from the Ensemble da Sé de Angra in Angra do Heroísmo (Terceira Island, Azores) during 2013. It was dedicated to the performance of Portuguese sacred vocal polyphony from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The group gave three concerts and in the summer of 2013 was able to make some recordings at Angra Cathedral which are presented below. The group was made by Sara (superius), Carolina Barbosa (altus), Luís Henriques (tenor) and Nelson Pereira (bassus).
