Paper at Conferências CESEM/UÉvora 2018

No próximo dia 21 de Março, pelas 14h00, irei realizar uma apresentação nos encontros informais Conferências CESEM/UÉvora 2018, integrado no projecto “Música Sacra em Évora no Século XVIII”, que se irá realizar na Sala dos Espelhos do Colégio Mateus d’Aranda.

O título da minha apresentação é “A música sacra na Sé de Évora no início do século XVIII: Repertórios, espaços e intervenientes”, compreendendo um sumário de vários artigo em que tenho estado a trabalhar acerca da música do compositor do início do século XVIII Pedro Vaz Rego e a relação entre a sua música, o espaço da Catedral e os músicos que lá trabalhavam.

Next March 21st, at 14h00, I’ll be making a presentation at the informal meetings Conferences CESEM/UÉvora 2018, integrated in the project “Sacred Music in Évora in the Eighteenth Century”, that will take place at Colégio Mateus d’Aranda, University of Évora.

The title of my presentation is “Sacred Music in Évora Cathedral in the Beginning of the Eighteenth Century: Repertoires, Spaces, and Intervenients” comprising a summary of several articles I have been working about the music of early-eighteenth-century composer Pedro Vaz Rego and the relation between his music, the Cathedral space, and the musicians working there.
