Volume on Art & Heritage in final stage

It has now entered in the final stage of pre-printing of the volume comprising a selection of papers presented in the Art & Heritage meetings of 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 I co-organized with the colleagues of the ACROARTE conservation & restoration atelier.

This first volume of the ACROARTE notebooks of Art & Heritage was due to be published back in 2020 but due to the pandemic it had to be postponed until the end of 2021. It is now on its final stage (at last) and we hope it will be out during this year.

The volume comprises texts on conservation and restoration interventions in artworks of the Azores archipelago, sacred art history issues and the importance of organizing the historical archives of the region and the document sources as a means to recover much lost knowledge over the artworks.
